When college student Flint Newbold receives a mysterious envelope tied to his late father’s eccentric friend, he opens the door to a secret legacy, one connected to literary giants, cryptic research, and plans for a possible time-bending device. As Flint, along with his closest friends, follow a trail of encrypted files, forgotten journals, and a few philosophical homilies, they discover something Bradbury hinted at, Vonnegut joked about, and Tesla may have helped build, a device which might be connected to the future. A device that could challenge and manipulate what they believe to be true. But they’re not the only ones searching. As a menacing duo closes in, Flint must decide what’s more important: the device’s potential, his friendships and faith, or his own temptations.
