I wrote this back when I was an undergrad at NAU. It is in honor of my dad's service in the Air Force and also for all those who defend our freedoms everyday. Thank you. I was encouraged by friends to enter it in a contest and it won the grand prize! I got some money and my first published work. Below you can read it.
